KALANGGAMAN ISLAND: Itinerary and Travel Tips

Kalanggaman Island - Palompon, Leyte. Known to have one of the finest and long sand bar in the Philippines. It took an almost 2 hours boat travel from the main land (Palompon) The island have nothing much to water activities to offer. You have to enjoy the place itself, the blue crystal water, the long sand bar that calls you to have a picture with if everytime, with your weirdo superfriends plus a bottle of beer will make it more exciting.

How to get there: (Kalanggaman Island)

>>Book a flight going to Tacloban.
>>From Tacloban Airport, going to New Bus Terminal
 - - - upon arrival in the airport, you can take a jeep ride going to *New Bus Terminal*. It will took you 10-15mins travel. It may cost (Php10)
>>From New Bus Terminal to Palompon
 - - - take a van going to Palompon. It cost Php150. It travels 2-3 long hours. You can please the diver of the van to drop you at Palompon Terminal and show you how to go to Palompon Tourism Office. You can also ask the locals.

 - - - this is where you are going to register for overnight stay, the **must** before going to the island and other details needed.

You can do several activities in the island, swimming, kayaking, scuba diving and more. Better to bring your own food and water cards if you want to extend the night and drinks. You can also visit the other side of the island where you can find rock formations.
